Declaration of Human Rights and Citizen 1789
Act entitled "Declaration of Human Rights and Citizen", which was the "brainchild" of the early stage of the French revolution, should be considered a breakthrough. Two features indicate its importance. First, it was the first act of a universal nature, that is, he concerned not only the group of magnates, but also all the inhabitants of France. Secondly, he gave the law a fundamental constitutional importance, stressing their importance and prohibiting possible restrictions.
The Declaration of Human Rights and Citizen was the essence of the thoughts of enlightenment in the field of humanism. Therefore, according to its wording, the main and inviolable was right to: Property, security, physical and spiritual freedom (religion), equality before the law, the right to court, personal integrity, equal access to public positions and posts, or the right to smoke against all forms oppression. The purpose of creating a declaration (and the revolution itself) was to limit the absolutist trends of King Louis XVI. However, the revolution was out of control. And although the Act of 1789 was the preamble of the French Constitution of 1791, the practice has shown that French citizens have not yet realized the importance of human rights.
Bill on the rights of the United States of 1791.
This mysterious name covers the first ten amendments to the US Constitution of 1787. This first written major resolution composed in the spirit of humanism of the Epoch of Enlightenment did not contain a catalog of fundamental rights. It was enshrined in the form of a guy of the first amendments to the Constitution, which guaranteed:
• freedom of religion, press, words, meetings of meetings and petitions (I - Amendment),
• the right to carry weapons, which is a kind of manifestation of the right to defense (2nd amendment),
• the right to personal and material inviolability and a search for a search (4th amendment),
• the right to court and the presence of the jury (7th amendment),
• Ban on cruel punishment and excessively burdensome penalties (VIII - there is a correction).
However, equality before the law is not recorded in this progressive document. Slavery still existed in the United States, and it was canceled only in 1865 by the 13th amendment. It should be noted that this document established the Canon of the main rights, with such a willingness adopted in other countries. The 1864 Convention, established on the initiative of Dunean, provided medical care to wounded soldiers, regardless of their nationality. He guaranteed neutrality and inviolability of the civilian population that helps the wounded during the fighting. The 1906 Convention has increased the scope of protection of the wounded and sick soldiers, introduced the system of accounting for the wounded and established a framework for sharing information about the victims of the war between states. I love an Ism-Free space! Peace and light.
This is a great policy because now you can make sure that people who don’t agree with you can’t challenge you in front of everyone. You’re awesome!! xxx peace and liberty and love.
actually, it’s a great policy because i don’t have to deal with nitwits like you who think that you’re entitled to be heard simply because you have awesome thoughts about how awesome Greenwald is and also, too free Bradley Manning. You insulted a co-blogger. This is my blog. You don’t have a right to be here. Go back to Salon.
Toodles!
Too many people out there in the world think they have some sort of right to piss on someone else’s living room floor in full view of the entire assembly. Fuck that noise. Stab ‘em hard, ABL.
