Newt Gingrich is sick of your shit, ladies. You’re always complaining about “equal rights” and about how “rape is rape.” You’ve been making a fuss about the fact that the GOP has varying positions about rape, and registering your disgust at Richard Mourdock, and you’re starting to annoy old Newt — so much so that he took to This Week with George Stephanopoulos to complain:
GINGRICH: My response is, if you listen to what Mourdock actually said, he said what virtually every Catholic and every fundamentalist in the country believes, life begins at conception …
STEPHANOPOULOS: Mr. Speaker, what Mr. Mourdock said exactly was that this life after rape, as horrible as it may be, is something that god intended to happen. Do you agree with that?
GINGRICH: And he also immediately issued a clarification saying that he was referring to the act of conception and he condemned rape. Romney has condemned rape. One part of this is nonsense. Every candidate I know, every decent American I know condemns rape. Okay so, why can’t people like Stephanie Cutter get over it? We all condemn rape …
“People like Stephanie Cutter”? You mean the men and women think that women should be able to do what they damn well please with their own bodies? Women who think that creepy old dudes like you should keep your nose out of our vagina-business?
Those people, Newt?
Here’s the problem, Newt. I don’t care about when Richard Mourdock or “virtually every Catholic and every fundamentalist” believes life begins. That has no place in government. It has no place in women’s health or reproductive health policy. You keep that shit to yourself, buddy.
As for your statement that “we all condemn rape,” so what? You don’t get a gold star for condemning rape.
I’m so sick of these assholes.
Then again, I’m probably just hysterical. Pass the Midol, please.
